This was a FANTASTIC Friday!
Fantastic Friday could not have been more fantastic! First, our Peer Support team led "Doubles Day," where we encouraged everyone to come to school dressed like a twin, triplet or quadruplet!
Next, internationally renowned author, speaker and artist, David Bouchard visited Lochearn and gave an inspiring presentation on the "Journey of Literacy."

I enjoyed when Mr. Bouchard told of his struggles to learn to read and how he was successful with hard work and I also enjoyed how he gave us the secret to reading " ONE BOOK AT A TIME". !!! :)

ReplyDeleteI missed Mr. Bouchard's presentation but I wonder if he also shared what his favorite book is. I love getting ideas of what to read from other people. If he didn't share his favorite book could you give me a few suggestions? I like the one book at a time idea. Thanks for sharing that Mr. Doan! Glad to see you back around the Lochearn Halls:)
